We are in the times and seasons where we must know, believe and confess what God's will is for us. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing (Proverb 12:18). The tongue of the wise brings healing because it only speaks what the word of God says regarding all the concerns of life. The tongue of the wise understands that the power of death and life lies in the tongue. The tongue of the wise knows the tongue has the ability to spread destruction quickly because it can be like a raging fire. Are you allowing words to work for you or against you?

Let's take a look at some bad confessions:
1. Someone may say, "Ever since I got saved, everything has been happening to me. I did not have it this hard before I got saved".
2. Someone may say, "The price of gas and food is going up, I don't know how I am going to make it."
3. Someone may say, "The more I pray for my children the worse they get. Why pray"?

Let look at what our confessions should or could look like:
Praise the Lord. I am on the winning side, ever since Jesus came into my heart and that makes me a winner. I am blessed because I fear the Lord, and delight in obeying His commandments. My children are mighty in the land because the generations of the righteous are blessed. Wealth and riches are in my house, which includes health and prosperity both spiritual and natural (Ps 112). Therefore, I will pray until something happens. I will pray without ceasing and I will be encouraged. I will not look with the natural eye. I will look through the lens of Gods word and I shall have what the word says regarding my salvation, my needs and my family! Now that looks like the spreading of blessings to me. What about you?

It's the time and season for the people of God to take a look at the other side of the coin. If the tongue has the ability to spread destruction quickly, then as we release what God has to say regarding our concerns we can spread blessing quickly! Know this, "you shall have what you say" (Mark 11:23). We have the power to speak blessings into our lives. Let's say what God says and He said, "We are redeemed from the curse of sickness, poverty and spiritual death". Are you redeemed? If you are let the 'Redeemed' of the Lord say so! And how can you say so? Just release the word regarding what's in our face today and see the hand of God moves. If we believe, we shall receive!

What should the rich be doing in this time and season?

It is truly the time and season to have an understanding regarding our earthly inheritance based on the word of God.

Here are a few questions that can help us to take a look at the big picture:
1. What is your perspective on the inheritance coming to you in this world?

2. With receiving an earthly inheritance from God would you allow him to manage it so that it can be a blessing not only to yourself but also to others?

3. Would God be able to use the inheritance as a resource in which to reveal HIS glory?

Something to think about isn't it? As we know we are not our own and nothing has that claim except Jesus Christ. Please do not let your life be cut off (spiritually or naturally) by the things we allow to own us illegally; such as money, gifts (given by God), children, etc., the list of possibilities is endless. It is the time and season to know that these things not only affect our life on earth, but are also a threat to our spiritual inheritance, our eternal destiny! Take a look at the parable of "The Rich Fool" he had the wrong perspective and it caused him his life. Please don't let it be you.
